my values
I’m all about creating a space where you’re the captain of your own ship. I believe you have the wisdom you need inside of you, and my job is to help you tap into that, not to dictate the journey. I’m here to support you as you navigate through your own process, and I trust you to know what feels right for you.
I also know that therapy isn’t meant to feel like a power struggle. I’m not here to be the “expert” on your life—you are. So I do my best to break down any power dynamics and make sure we’re working together as equals. Everyone’s experience is different, and I’m here to meet you where you’re at, offering accommodations and flexibility to make sure you feel supported in ways that work for you.
As a white, cis woman, and someone with lived experience in chronic illness and body distrust, I’m always aware of how my own identities and privileges show up in the room. I believe in checking myself regularly, constantly educating myself, and making sure I’m holding space for you in an authentic way. I don’t have all the answers, but I’ll always be real with you and do the work to show up in the most grounded way I can.
If you’re looking for a therapist who values your voice, trusts your instincts, and is committed to being authentic and reflective in the space, we’ll probably vibe. Let me know what you need, and we’ll go from there!
