my values
I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. You're the expert on your own life, and I don't see my role as telling you who to be or what decisions to make. Instead, I'm here to help you better understand yourself, reconnect with your own wisdom, and explore what feels most aligned with your values. I trust that you already have so much of what you need. Sometimes we just need support finding our way back to it.
Creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard is one of my highest priorities. Therapy shouldn't feel like a hierarchy where one person has all the answers. My hope is that our relationship feels grounded in mutual respect, curiosity, and honesty. I welcome feedback, I believe repair is an important part of relationships, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self without worrying about getting it "right."
I also recognize that none of us exist outside of the systems we live in. The ways we experience race, gender, sexuality, disability, body size, religion, neurodivergence, culture, and other identities shape our lives in meaningful ways, and those experiences deserve to be acknowledged in therapy. I am committed to continually learning, reflecting on my own biases, and practicing in a way that is affirming, anti-oppressive, and responsive to the unique experiences each person brings into the room.
Whether you need structure, flexibility, accommodations, or simply a place where you don't have to carry everything alone, we'll figure out what works best together. My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels authentic, collaborative, and supportive of the life you want to build.
