Frequently asked questions.
How much do sessions cost?
Self-pay rates are as follows:
53-minute session: $140
If this rate is too high, do not fret. Please reach out and inquire about sliding scale options.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, currently I am in network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare.
How long do sessions last?
Individual sessions last 53 minutes with 7 minutes left for rescheduling and documentation. Group sessions typically last for 90 minutes.
How often should I come to therapy?
Each client will need treatment differently. If you are in need of stability and more frequent support, generally you would be seen once a week. For other clients, biweekly-monthly support may be helpful. Make sure to chat with Macy about your desired frequency to be on the same page.
When will i be done with therapy?
Each client will have unique needs. This will be answered by both you and I within the therapeutic setting. Some people come to therapy for a few weeks and never come back, others stay for years! Healing is a progression, not a race, and I will work to assure that you get the support you need for as long as you need it.
Can I restart therapy once I’ve been discharged?
This is individually dependent. If you have been discharged, please contact me and have a conversation. Even if it is decided that you need another therapist, I will be happy to provide support. I will always want to hear from you, even if it’s just to say hello.
